Dr. Kang has received Presidential Research Award in September 2020, which gave him a one-year-long development leave. Due to COVID, unfortunately, he has stayed in a remote office somewhere on campus.

Sebastian’s project entitled “Shedding Light on Mobile tRNA in Plant Biotic Stress” was virtually presented at Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in 2020.
